Martin is a highly accomplished veterinary surgeon with over 15 years of clinical experience, including nine years in the United Kingdom, with a primary focus on orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery. He holds a Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from Trakia University (2010) and completed an international clinical internship in the United States, enhancing his global veterinary perspective. Martin has undertaken extensive advanced surgical training across the UK and Europe, with expertise in fracture repair, joint and prosthetic surgery, soft tissue reconstruction, and cruciate disease management. His career includes leadership as Head of Surgery within a major UK veterinary group, where he directed surgical services and internal referrals. He has furthered his academic credentials with a Postgraduate Certificate in Veterinary Professional Studies and a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Small Animal Surgery. From 2022 to 2025, Martin served as a peripatetic referral surgeon, providing complex surgical care across more than 35 practices nationwide. In 2025, he became a partner and surgeon with the SAS in-house referral team, where he continues to deliver exemplary surgical care with a commitment to clinical excellence and the advancement of veterinary surgery.
